Field notes from recent treks, rafting runs, and climbing days — what we saw, what we learned, and what's next on the calendar.
View Full Activity FeedTwelve trekkers made the pre-dawn summit bid in clear conditions. Snow was firm above the treeline, and the group moved as one rope team through the final switchbacks. All back at base camp by noon.
First rafting session of the season ran the full Dandeli circuit. Water levels were moderate, giving the crew room to practice eddy turns and rescue drills between rapids. No swims, plenty of grins.
Eight participants moved from top-rope to lead climbing over two days. Focus was on gear placement and anchor building on the granite slabs. Two climbers sent their first 5.10a.
Map and compass work in snow-covered terrain near Nag Tibba. The group practiced pace counting and bearing taking in whiteout conditions, then put it to use on a 6 km cross-country leg.
Shelter building, fire lighting, and water sourcing in the forest around Bhimashankar. Rain moved in on day two, which made the tarp shelters earn their keep. Everyone stayed dry and fed.
Scouted a new line along the laterite cliffs near the coast. The route needs a few more bolts and a proper approach trail, but the exposure and views are worth the work. Planning a full trip for April.
Field Notes from Our Crew
Real feedback from trekkers, climbers, and paddlers who trained with us across Himalayan trails and Western Ghats circuits.
Share your own storySigned up for the beginner's high-altitude trek with zero prior experience. The acclimatization plan was spot on — no altitude sickness, just steady pacing and clear guidance on hydration and layering.
Summited my first 4,000m passThe river rafting course on the Kali River was intense but well structured. Our instructor drilled the safety protocols until they felt instinctive. By day three, I was reading rapids instead of just holding on.
Confident on Class III rapids nowMoved from gym climbing to real granite in a single weekend. The anchor-building drills and route-reading sessions changed how I approach every climb. Small group meant plenty of hands-on correction.
Led my first outdoor pitchThe wilderness survival camp in the Western Ghats taught me practical campcraft — fire building in damp conditions, shelter construction, and navigation without a phone. Skills I actually use on every trip now.
Campcraft that sticksBooked a custom training session for our office crew. The instructors tailored the pace to mixed fitness levels and kept everyone engaged. We left with a shared vocabulary around risk and teamwork.
